What is Nourish?

Nourish is a national telehealth platform that makes it easy for people to connect with a Registered Dietitian — and for dietitians to do their best work.

We’re on a mission to help 100 million people live healthier, longer lives through insurance-covered nutrition care.

Our RDs are credentialed nutrition experts who provide medical nutrition therapy (MNT) for everything from diabetes and heart health to fertility, GI concerns and more

We believe great patient outcomes come from empowering RDs with the right technology, community, and support — not administrative work.

Do I have to source my own patients?

Nope! Nourish handles the patient acquisition - from referrals to marketing to partnerships. If you do bring patients to Nourish yourself, you’ll earn a higher session rate for each appointment with a self-sourced patient

How does Nourish attract patients?

Nourish has dedicated teams across marketing and partnerships to find new patients and expand access to affordable nutrition care

More specifically, patients find Nourish through:

Digital marketing and social media outreach
Partnerships with health systems, employers, physicians, and care teams
Insurance directories and referring providers
Word-of-mouth referrals from our existing patients and RDs

What if I already have my own patients?

You’re welcome to keep your private practice as-is and supplement your schedule with Nourish patients. If you’d like to bring your patients to Nourish who want to use insurance, we make that easy and you’ll receive a higher session rate for those patients.

What is the compensation and benefits package?

Nourish RDs are W-2 employees, not contractors.

That means you get access to employer-paid benefits, tax savings, and the stability that comes with being a valued member of our team.

Nourish RDs are eligible for:

PTO and Parental Leave
No Show Pay on late cancellations
Access to a 401(k) plan
Licensure reimbursement
Paid CEU support ($300 annual education stipend)
A supportive RD community with virtual events (where lunch/coffee is on us!)
Health, dental, and vision insurance (for full-time Nourish RDs)
& more!

Session rates vary based on experience, role type, and caseload - and are highly competitive in the dietitian market.

How long does it take to get started?

Once hired, most RDs are fully onboarded and seeing patients in as little as 2 weeks!

Is this role W-2 or 1099?

All Nourish clinicians are W-2 employees.

That means we handle taxes, provide benefits, and cover many costs that independent contractors usually shoulder.

In most cases, this results in higher net take-home pay and far less admin work than a 1099 setup.

Do I need to be credentialed with insurance to work at Nourish?

No — we take care of all credentialing and insurance enrollment for you.

Our in-house team manages the process directly with payers so you can focus on patient care.

Who is eligible to work at Nourish?

To join Nourish, you must:

Be a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) credentialed by the CDR
Be legally authorized to work in the U.S. (we currently cannot sponsor visas)

What equipment do I need?

You’ll need a computer capable of running Zoom and a stable internet connection.

The Nourish Provider Platform is web-based, so no downloads or complex setup required.

Nourish does not provide hardware equipment.

Full-time employees are eligible for a $125 quarterly Home Office & Tech reimbursement.
