Do Nourish dietitians have the ability to order labs or tests to help me further diagnose my symptoms?
We’ve recently launched labs through Nourish, so there are a few different panels available to our patients! Dietitians can recommend specific panels from our lab offerings, and patients can chose from other available options. You can learn more by logging into your Nourish App and scrolling to the lab section near the bottom of the home tab.
Please note, some lab panels require payment via CC, and cannot be billed to your insurance.
For testing beyond our available labs, your dietitian can chat with your PCP (assuming you’ve completed a Release of Information form) about ordering specific tests to help diagnose your symptoms, based on what they’ve uncovered during your appointments. Labs or testing ordered this way still require your PCP’s approval, so the final decision to order other testing is up to your PCP’s discretion.
