If you're unable to find the right dietitian through the Find a Provider page, contact support@nourish.com and the team will help identify the ideal dietitian for your specific needs. When you email, please include your state, DOB, insurance carrier, and some context on why you’re seeking a dietitian (or the specialty areas you’re seeking).
Reschedule or cancel through the Nourish patient portal at app.usenourish.com. Free cancellation and rescheduling is available when changes are made at least 24 hours before your scheduled appointment time. Changes made less than 24 hours before the appointment incur a $75 late cancellation/rescheduling fee.
If you do not attend your scheduled session, this $75 charge will apply as a No-show fee.
Please complete all paperwork found in your patient portal 48 hours before your initial appointment, as this helps your dietitian prepare for your appointment, and helps Nourish get your services covered by insurance.
Nourish is unable to offer calls with dietitians prior to the intake appointment. Your first appointment serves as the opportunity to discuss your goals and what you're looking for. You will also be able to message with your dietitian before the appointment so you can ask any questions to confirm they’re the right match for you.
Your session summaries are available in the Nourish patient portal. Log in at app.nourish.com and navigate to the Appointment tab.
If you need fully copies of your chart notes, please email support@nourish.com so our team can coordinate this with you.
Log in to the Nourish App or web-based patient portal at app.nourish.com to view upcoming appointment details. You will also receive confirmation & reminder emails with appointment times.
Nourish recommends checking out another dietitian on the team so you can get care now. Our support team can also add you to a waitlist for your preferred dietitian, but there are no ETAs we can provide as to when they will accept new patients, since our dietitians manage their own caseload and calendar.
Some states have laws preventing patients from seeing dietitians licensed outside their state. The dietitian likely isn't licensed in your state. Contact support@nourish.com for help finding an available dietitian in your state.
Nourish offers free cancellation and rescheduling for all appointments. However, if the change is made less than 24 hours before the scheduled appointment time, a $75 late appointment change fee applies.
Book directly through the Nourish website or app. Enter your insurance, browse the dietitian directory, choose a dietitian, and select an available time slot that works for your schedule.
In most cases, dietitians can only provide care to patients physically located in the state(s) they're licensed in at the time of the appointment.
If you will be traveling to another state, please inform your dietitian before your session, as the appointment may need to be cancelled if they do not hold an active license in the state you’re visiting.
At this time, we do not offer consultations over SMS or email.
While your session isn't "free", 94% of our clients are completely covered by their insurance (meaning their appointments cost $0) and we do everything in our power to get your costs covered by insurance. If your initial claim is denied for any reason, you will not be charged for any appointments that have already occurred, and you can choose to either cancel or move to self-pay for future appointments.
The Nourish Guarantee is our commitment to providing a no-surprise billing experience for you! Our guarantee is:
All of our appointments are conducted over Zoom and you will not be receiving a phone call from your dietitian at the time of your appointment. You can refer to any of your upcoming appointments (and access their Zoom links) through your patient portal here: https://app.nourish.com/.
Use the "Request a new dietitian" link at app.nourish.com/new-provider. You'll be prompted to select your health concerns and shown available dietitians. From here, you can browse profiles and click different days on the calendar to explore more options and availability.
This is most likely a no-show or late cancellation/rescheduling fee for a previous appointment. This fee is not covered by insurance since the appointment could not be conducted due to your absence. Nourish requires 24 hours' notice for any cancellation or appointment change. See the full cancellation policy at nourish.com/nourish-consent.
Your first session is typically 50–60 minutes and is focused on getting to know you — not giving you a list of rules to follow right away.
Your dietitian will walk through your health history, current medications, eating patterns, lifestyle, and goals. They'll review the intake forms you completed in your patient portal and may ask follow-up questions to fill in any gaps. If you have recent lab work or notes from your doctor, it can be helpful to have those available, though it's not required.
By the end of the session, your dietitian will have a strong foundation to build your personalized care plan and will share an initial set of goals or recommendations for you to start with before your next appointment. You'll also have a chance to ask any questions you have and align on a schedule for follow-up sessions.
We’ve recently launched labs through Nourish, so there are a few different panels available to our patients! Dietitians can recommend specific panels from our lab offerings, and patients can chose from other available options. You can learn more by logging into your Nourish App and scrolling to the lab section near the bottom of the home tab. Please note, some lab panels require payment via CC, and cannot be billed to your insurance.
For testing beyond our available labs, your dietitian can chat with your PCP (assuming you’ve completed a Release of Information form) about ordering specific tests to help diagnose your symptoms, based on what they’ve uncovered during your appointments. Labs or testing ordered this way still require your PCP’s approval, so the final decision to order other testing is up to your PCP’s discretion.

Eligible members may receive a $15-$50 prepaid gift card to support your diet and nutrition journey, when their referral completes their first Nourish appointment. The amount you are eligible for will be displayed in your Nourish mobile app. In all cases, the following terms apply:
Because Nourish is a Telehealth practice, you may be matched with providers that are in other states! We will ensure the dietitian you’re seeing is licensed in your state. Working with providers in other states or timezones unlocks greater appointment availability so you can find a time that works best for your schedule.
